We have recently finished work with the team at the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) at Aberystwyth University to develop a new brand for their innovation programme, Biomass Connect. The programme has a multi-function approach to support the expansion and roll out of biomass feedstocks to improve the overall sustainability of farming in the UK.

Our solution employs an intertwined arrow device which both references the brand name and gives a sense of the cyclical nature of the biomass process. The brand colours were chosen to embody the sustainability at the heart of the programme. A bold green and muted tan colour representing nature, the dark blue adding a sense of stability and permanence.

Once the core brand development was completed we embarked on a series of branded materials to help the Aberystwyth team launch the programme. We worked with them to create everything from Powerpoint and white paper templates, through to e-newsletter designs and stationery.
