The Bible Society’s vision is to engage the local community as well as providing high quality, locally-sourced food and drinks for visitors to the attraction. The space will in time host events, community gatherings and musical events.

Bob was tasked with creating a brand identity for the new venture. Mary Jones World is located on the banks of Lake Tegid and this provided us with the inspiration for the brand identity. Inspired by the lakeside location of the cafe, the logo device uses a light blue coloured coffee cup combined with stylised mountains. The blue of the cup both serves as the water below the mountains and the cup itself. The subtle bird elements give context to the mountain shapes and ensures the visual combination of cup and landscape is not lost on the viewer. This is combined with a bold, confident font.

We have recently delivered the brand identity to the Bible Society and we’re looking forward to seeing the new facility take shape over the coming months and welcoming its first visitors.
