Bob helped the IAM to explain the complex issues surrounding Asset Management through good clear design.
Bob has worked with the Institute of Asset Management for 4 years now, on a range of graphic design projects. The IAM is the professional body for those involved in acquisition, operation and care of physical assets, especially critical infrastructure.
As part of our remit in working with the IAM, we’ve produced several books and documents for them while keeping and slightly evolving the ‘house’ style they already had in place. In the main these documents fall under the title os SSGs (Subject Specific Guidance) and in effect are ‘manuals’ for the membership base in order for them to understand the diverse and complex subject areas that the IAM cover. In 2012 we helped the IAM to create the promotional materials for IAM NXT GEN. The NxtGen is the IAM’s network for people who are new to asset management – students, graduates, people starting out their asset management career, professionals from other disciplines and anyone wishing to learn more about the subject and since launch the IAM have been quite successful in bringing more people into the industry.
We also work with the IAM to produce materials for their annual conferences, this would usually comprise an Annual Review, Conference Guide and this years latest white paper or SSG. More recently it has evolved to cover theming and branding for the individual conferences too. These marketing communications have enabled the IAM to effectively engage their membership base and at the same time to appeal to new members with a more modern face.
“The IAM is delighted to have chosen Bob Design to manage the design and print/publishing of our key suites of ‘knowledge products. We like the way they work and take care to reflect our brand whilst adding some creative twists and sparkle. We know that the results appeal to our international audience of members and users. Stuart and Wayne are always very accommodating and helpful and their final product is always great. Thanks for the support!”
