The client

London Business School’s academic strength and global outlook drives original and provocative business thinking. Their vision is to have a profound impact on the way the world does business. The School is consistently ranked in the global top 10 for its programmes and is widely acknowledged as a centre for outstanding research and has more than 44,000 alumni, from over 150 countries, which provide a wealth of knowledge, business experience and worldwide networking opportunities. London Business School’s 157 academics come from more than 30 countries and cover seven subject areas: accounting; economics; finance; management science and operations; marketing; organisational behaviour; and strategy and entrepreneurship.

The challenge

We were asked to create an impact report to showcase the valuable contribution that the IEPC has made to the London Business School. The content was to be broadly broken down into 4 categories – Teaching, Research, Business creation & Outreach and be used as a tool to update stakeholders on the fantastic achievements being made and to promote the IEPC to new students as they’d be able to quickly get a feel for the benefits of being a student.

The solution

We created a report in the house style of London Business School. Using their fonts and colours to seamlessly create something that was completely on-brand. We’ve used iconography, pull quotes and stats to break up the layouts and make the text easily digestible. The brochure features information on some of the teaching programmes available alongside some really interesting spotlight features on some of the most successful entrepreneurs to pass through the IEPC, such as Thomas Griesel, co-founder of HelloFresh. We’ve also featured awards that various entrepreneurs and their companies have won.

Tedx London Business School Website

Every year, the LBS students pick a theme and put on a TEDx branded event with a series of speakers talking around and exploring some of the most interesting and intriguing areas related to that topic. To record past events and the content created, as well as to promote future events, we were asked to create a website that would showcase the events, the speakers and the video content of their talks. We created a WordPress site with a front-end and back end editor which would easily allow the students to be able to update the content themselves year on year.

The Founders' Book Website

The digitalisation of the London Business School Founders Book. An online database of startup companies created by student entrepreneurs seeking investment and mentoring. Historically, the Founders’ Book has been a printed document. This no longer fits in with the fast-moving and vibrant London tech ecosystem. They turned to us for a low-cost solution to digitising the book and turning it into a website.

The LBS Founders Book has only one mission – to bring visibility to the tremendous entrepreneurial talent at LBS. While helping talented entrepreneurs to showcase their visions, They want to give investors early access to what could become the next LBS unicorn. The Founders book website is the vehicle to do so.

The design style of the website very much follows the London Business School style in terms of colours and fonts. We created a WordPress site that takes the essence of the printed version and expands upon it. Each start-up has its own profile page, linking directly to the founders’ Linkedin pages. This allows investors to very quickly learn more about the entrepreneurs behind the startups. New startups can also quickly upload their details and the submission can be monitored and approved by the site admins.

The Entrepreneurship Lab Directory

The Entrepreneurship Lab (TEL) equips start-ups with unmatched access to industry experts, prominent investors and decision-makers in the entrepreneurial ecosystem who have committed their time to be a part of the TEL venture partner network. As part of course materials given to students and the wider venture partner network we helped LBS to create a directory of all the startups in this year’s cohort as an easy point of reference to all companies, their business activities and investment and guidance requirements.
