The Challenge

London Business School asked Bob to create a brand for a series of events being staged for students, alumni and the public who are new to the entrepreneurship space. They can listen to talks from various experts, partake in a bit of networking and feel comfortable having a good time with drinks and friends. They want people to look forward to the next event. This branding would need to instantly stand out and grab people’s attention – the brief was to make it bright, dynamic and exciting.

IEPC Impact Report

We created an impact report in the house style of London Business School. Using their fonts and colours to seamlessly create something that was completely on-brand. We’ve used iconography, pull quotes and stats to break up the layouts and make the text easily digestible. The brochure features information on some of the teaching programmes available alongside some really interesting spotlight features on some of the most successful entrepreneurs to pass through the IEPC, such as Thomas Griesel, co-founder of HelloFresh. We’ve also featured awards that various entrepreneurs and their companies have won.

E-clubs website

The London Business School Entrepreneurship Club is a dynamic student association at London Business School dedicated to fostering connections, equipping individuals with tools, and orchestrating engaging events for those with a keen interest in making waves in the entrepreneurial realm.

Catering to two distinct groups, founders are encouraged to leverage our extensive array of workshops, competitions, and pitch nights to explore, refine, and expedite their ideas. Meanwhile, Venture Capitalists can leverage the platform to tap into our vast network of current students and alumni founders, gaining early access to emerging ventures stemming from our programs.

Our website serves as a hub, spotlighting key events orchestrated by the Entrepreneurship Club throughout the year. These include flagship initiatives such as HackLBS—a premier hackathon uniting business professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, coders, and designers, fostering collaborative ideation and the development of innovative products. Moreover, Pizza, Pints, and Pitches—a novel endeavor—aims to gather entrepreneurship enthusiasts for discussions on business ideas and technological trends ripe for venture exploration.

Booster Pitch Nights provide a platform for students to vie for selection, offering training, insightful dialogues with industry experts, culminating in a grand event where pitches are presented to Venture Capitalists, Angel investors, and fellow founders. Additionally, Launchpad-Pre-Accelerator—a startup pre-accelerator program—brings together London’s brightest minds to refine ideas into viable businesses. Further afield, the MENA Startup Competition offers a platform for students to secure funding and garner exposure in the Middle East and North African region.

Our website also maintains robust ties with the Founders book website, an additional resource we’ve developed, which we’ll delve into further below.

Founders' Book website

London Business School has been at the forefront of fostering entrepreneurship for over four decades. During this time, their students have embarked on thousands of entrepreneurial journeys, yielding numerous successful businesses and invaluable learning experiences. The Founders’ book marks a significant milestone as the first compilation of these remarkable stories. It serves as a wonderful initiative, not only to honour their founders, but also to share their narratives and unequivocally demonstrate the School’s rich soil for cultivating entrepreneurial minds. Entrepreneurship is both a discipline and an apprenticeship.

Our website proudly showcases a comprehensive database profiling prominent startups launched by current LBS students and alumni across various investment stages. It stands as a tribute to the exceptional entrepreneurial talent within the LBS community.

The vibrant tech ecosystem of London, coupled with the unmatched diversity of LBS students, has played a pivotal role in nurturing some of the most promising ventures. By providing a platform for talented entrepreneurs to showcase their visions, we aim to offer investors early access to potential future LBS unicorns (with Hello Fresh serving as a notable example). Collaborating closely with the Entrepreneurship Club at LBS, we take pride in our crucial role in empowering entrepreneurs to thrive both during their time at LBS and beyond.
