We’ve worked with the Headboard Workshop team to apply branding we had created for Headboard Workshop to their e-commerce website, ensuring that their brand transfers seamlessly from print to web.
Working with their in-house team, we helped to analyse the merits and failings of the pages of the existing site, from brand recognition and look and feel through to the ease of customer journey and the buying process with ordering swatches and buying products identified as the two key goals of the e-commerce site, an increase in volume of swatch pack orders should lead to a comparative increase in product orders. For this website redesign, our remit was to provide the developer with all new page layouts for them to build. We helped to rationalise the home page, make the navigation simpler, bring the product pages to life and organise the brochure pages to be easily followed and understood by their customers.
As the e-commerce site is the main sales channel for Headboard Workshop, it needed to showcase the retailer’s high quality products, as well as reinforce the brand values of excellence, luxury and distinction. A carousel of images on the home page displays Headboard Workshop’s products to their best advantage. The website quickly directs the customer to the various purchasing options, from off-the-shelf collections and current offers to bespoke products, ensuring swift navigation and encouraging sales. We’ve been careful to keep the brand feel alive with various illustrations of the sheep cropping up throughout the site to give a dose of the brand personality and the Headboard Workshop has enjoyed huge success since the website launch and the company is currently doubling revenue month-on-month.
