Frequently Asked Questions
Got something you really need to ask us? Certain questions pop up time and time again, perhaps you'll find the answer to your question below.
No. We would be delighted to meet you at our studio or your place of business to discuss your requirements. It’s important to meet potential clients face-to-face to gauge what they are trying to achieve.
Yes. When a job begins you will be assigned an account manager (Wayne or Stuart) who will be your main point of contact throughout the project.
You name it we probably do it. We offer a wide variety of graphic design services including design for print media. This encompasses logos and branding, brochures, presentation folders, newsletters, magazines, illustration, photography, direct mail, marketing and stationery. We also offer design for digital media including web design, e-newsletter campaigns, Twitter and Facebook graphics.
We keep you updated on the progress of your project and ask for feedback at key points. This promotes a sense of involvement and participation and prevents any breakdown in communication. You are always welcome to call, email or pop in if you’d like to discuss any aspects of your project further.
As each of our clients run vastly different businesses each with their own bespoke requirements, challenges and marketing opportunities, it is impossible for us to have a one size fits all pricing policy. While this means that we don’t have set rates for projects, each job is priced on a cost framework based on our standard hourly or day rates.
We sometimes work on a retainer basis for long-term projects. We would be happy to discuss this option with you if it’s applicable.
We prefer payment by BACS or bank transfer, unfortunately we are unable to take payments via credit card. Our standard payment terms are 7 days from the invoice date.
Absolutely. We can manage the whole process from specification to creating print ready for artwork. The team has been buying print for longer than we care to remember, meaning we’ve sussed the best local printers who offer superior quality, service and value for money.
The production of print needn’t be harmful to the environment. Our selected printers are FSC certified, meaning the paper they use is sourced from sustainable forests and the processes they employ comply with the highest social and environmental standards. The use of vegetable-based inks helps further limit any negative impact on the environment. When certain papers are used, we can arrange for your printed materials to be carbon balanced and offset by the World Land Trust. There are also papers available now made from recycled coffee cups, and arrangements can be made for trees to be planted to offset carbon. if you do have environmental concerns, please do discuss them with us as there are a myriad of solutions and options available to you.
Any concept work or initial ideas are the intellectual property of Bob. When payment is received, the copyright is passed to you. We reserve the right to use work for promotional purposes (please check our terms and conditions).
We are happy to provide electronic copies of any artwork we have created upon final payment. The majority of our clients work with us on an ongoing basis and keep an archive of work produced.
